We are in search of a dynamic and accomplished Vice President of Sales to lead our efforts in targeting the Institutional Clients Group within the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, cultivate key relationships, and deliver exceptional sales performance in the institutional banking landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focused on the Institutional Clients Group to drive revenue growth.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Client Engagement:
- Identify and engage with key institutional clients, including corporations, government entities, and other large organizations.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with decision-makers and influencers within the institutional banking space.
- Market Expertise:
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape within the institutional banking sector.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and finance, to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of institutional clients.
- Work closely with product teams to ensure a deep understanding of offerings and their relevance to institutional clients.
- Sales Performance:
- Set ambitious sales targets and key performance indicators, monitoring and reporting on progress regularly.
- Implement effective sales methodologies and best practices to optimize performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a focus on the Institutional Clients Group within the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth understanding of institutional banking products, services, and client needs.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership role targeting institutional clients within the banking or financial sector.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
