Do you like working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for work in the Jeffersonville Area? Qualified Staffing is hiring for our client, a wood veneering company located in Jeffersonville, IN and we want you!
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:00pm
- Overtime will be offered based on needs
Pay Rate:
$16.35 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Inspects the veneer for specification conformance.
- Observes machine operation to detect material defects or machine malfunction.
- Must be able to meet and maintain acceptable production levels.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Completes the necessary production forms.
- Understands lockout-tagout safety procedure.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
- Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
Qualifications:
- Must be team-oriented
- Time management skills in order to maintain acceptable production levels
- Must be able to lift/and or move up to 35 lbs.
