Job Title: Project Engineer
Department: Continuous Improvement
Reports To: Continuous Improvement Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: The project engineer will coordinate and manage engineering and technical development projects. He/she will act as engineering liaison between departments, customers, and vendors. This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline required. At least three years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field.
Language/Reasoning Ability/Mathematical Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and or related software.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply using whole numbers. Ability to read, write and speak basic English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to fill out reports and follow shipping schedules.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate. We also require steel-toed shoes and protective eyewear at all times in the plant.
