Primary Function
The primary function of this position is to schedule Quality Assurance and HERS inspections for New Residential Construction clients. This position is responsible for the daily scheduling, dispatching, and certifying inspections. The Scheduling Coordinator position requires extreme attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written), a professional demeanor, organization, time management, and keen critical thinking skills.
This is a remote and non-exempt position.
Specific Duties
· Answer all incoming calls, emails, and route to appropriate internal/external recipients.
· Schedule and dispatch field consultants during the project’s construction cycle.
· Report problems and test failures immediately to jobsite construction managers and contractors.
· Complete necessary and required paperwork to certify jobs.
· Update customer files as information is received.
Education and Skills Requirements
· High school diploma or GED.
· Knowledge of homebuilding industry preferred, but not required.
· Meticulous, analytical, and highly organized.
· Highly proficient in Excel, Word, MS Outlook.
· Comfortable in a data-driven environment with proprietary software and construction database tools.
· Ability to work within a highly structured (ISO9001) company, but eager to suggest and implement changes that will lead to continuous improvement.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Machines, Tools, and Equipment
· Machines common to usual office operation including telephones, copiers, computers, and database computer software.
Physical Requirements
· Primary posture is sitting, although walking and standing in the home-office setting is required.
Standard Work Hours
· Normal work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. From time to time, specific work assignments may require 40 plus hours, including evenings and weekends, as requested by your supervisor or an executive.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
