Quality Dining, one of the nation's leading restaurant franchisees, has an opening for a Software Developer in our Mishawaka, IN corporate office. As an integral member of our Information Technology team, the ideal candidate will have at least 1-4 years of experience working in a fast-paced IT environment and developing network and web applications using Microsoft.NET and ASP.NET.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Development of web-based applications for both restaurant and above-restaurant (corporate) users.
  • Maintains, debugs, and enhances existing Microsoft.NET (C#) and ASP.NET.
  • Revises, repairs, or expands existing programs for optimization.
  • Writing or rewriting programs for use throughout the organization.
  • Special projects as assigned on a periodic basis.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development/Engineering or a related field from an accredited university with a strong GPA; will consider applicants with an Associate degree in Information Technology from an accredited university with a strong GPA with relevant job experience, or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience developing network and web applications using Microsoft.NET (or C#) and ASP.NET.
  • Experience using jQuery.
  • Strong working knowledge of WPF, AJAX, LINQ, and SQL.
  • Experience with Marcomedia Flash, JavaScript, and XML/Web Service.
  • Strong working knowledge of current data standards and normalization.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to tailor the writing style for different audiences (end users, tech services, etc).
  • Experience with Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence design and development.
  • Experience designing and developing reporting packages and procedures.
