Warehouse Driver

Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level DOT Driver to work in our Shipping department. Must have a valid driver's license and either have a DOT Medical card or be able to pass physical to obtain a DOT Medical card. Will need to be motivated and energetic, good verbal and written communication with solid problem solving and attention to detail. Any driving experience with 40' trailers is a big plus, On-the-job training will be provided. Must be ok with working in all weather conditions.

Pay Rate: $21.00 to $23.00 depending on experience

Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday – Friday. Must be flexible to work OT as needed. And could be asked to work an occasional Saturday.

Your Responsibilities:

• Shuttling products and inventory from the main warehouse to the inventory department.
• Driving shipments within the Salt Lake area. Out-of-state travel could be possible once you are hired on with the company
• Manually unload and load products and supplies. Must operate dolly, pallet jack, and or forklift to load and unload supplies and equipment.
• Prepare shipments and inspect incoming shipments for damages and defects
• Must be able to lift between 37 – 70 lbs as needed
• Physical conditions include walking for extended periods of time, climbing ladders and stairs, lifting, bending, and stooping
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Have a certified DOT medical card or be able to obtain one
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
• Meet the physical demands of lifting 50 lbs. as needed
• Organized, multitasking and prioritizing duties
