Summary:
The Quality Improvement Program Coordinator assists the Quality Improvement Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the Corvallis Clinic quality management and quality improvement programs. Coordinates efforts and communication between TCC and Quality programs and partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Will participate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards Handbook. To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within.
  • Coordinates the oversight for ongoing analysis and monitoring of QI indicators.
  • Coordinates ongoing data analysis. Works with designated team members to ensure access to reliable data analysis and monitoring of QI indicators to meet program outcomes and metrics.
  • Prepares and disseminates reports and analysis to stakeholders to support their efforts to provide quality driven efficient patient care.
  • Supports QI committee activities and special projects as needed.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives as directed.
  • Works with the Quality Manager and leadership to assist in clinical quality program development.
  • Monitor and maintain Quality Improvement (QI) documents, including but not limited to:
  • QI Program Description
  • QI Program Evaluation
  • QI Work Plan
  • QI Project Documents
  • RPIW documentation
  • Department quality and process metrics
  • Grant applications and documentation
  • Conducts periodic audits/reviews of established quality programs to determine efficiency, adherence to policy and effectiveness. Makes written recommendations for system wide quality improvement purposes.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments to improve clinical processes and implement quality improvement processes.
  • Monitors quality program compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as primary point of contact and assists with the implementation and compliance with Patient Centered Medical Home, Primary Care First (PCF), and quality program initiatives.
  • Leads the Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC).
  • Participates in the review and analysis of data from survey tools, including but not limited to, provider satisfaction surveys, patient satisfaction surveys, process, and quality surveys, etc.
  • Support Supervisors, Managers, and Directors in the implementation, analysis, maintenance, and improvement of clinical operations and quality improvement initiatves.
Education, Licensure and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Nursing, Public Health, Health Care Administration, Business Management or Administration, or related field; or equivalent career experience.
  • 3 years of experience with clinical quality improvement and/or process improvement, including coordination of audits/surveys, qualitative analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience with apply to federal and state laws, contracts and regulations required.
  • Required software experience:
  • Microsoft Access (intermediate to advanced user)
  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced user)
  • Microsoft Word (intermediate to advanced user)
  • Preferred software experience:
  • Microsoft Project (intermediate to advanced user)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced user)
  • Microsoft Visio (intermediate to advanced user)
Knowledge and skills:
  • Strong critical thinking skills required.
  • Knowledge understanding of statistical concepts.
  • Knowledge of data collection, data analysis and presentation required.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (both oral written), organizational and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work professionally with internal external customers and agencies.
