Position Summary:

Hands on role keeping the yard running smoothly in our Refton Pa. location. Oversee daily operations of the yard in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Maintain safety expectations, quality standards, accuracy and productivity to achieve company goals.

Reports to:

· Plant Manager

Essential Job Responsibilities and Functions:

· Maintain safe work environment: identify areas for improvement and set safety goals. Exhibit safe forklift driving skills.

· Encouraging a sense of team work with other departments while following Company procedures.

· Daily loading and unloading of company product and materials. Verify and be responsible for contents of inbound and outbound loads

· Pulling orders for shipment and make adjustment to meet schedule

· Maintain an organized yard keeping all products put away in their proper location.

· Go through jobsite returns and return any reusable product to inventory.

· Maintain accurate inventory of purchased and manufactured materials through weekly cycle counts.

· Provide daily schedule and paperwork to employee truck driver.

· Maintain professionalism at all times

Position Requirements:

· This is a safety-sensitive position and a drug screen will be required prior to employment.

· Operate a forklift. Load and unload a flatbed truck.

· Clearly communicate with logistics department

· Be responsible for company property and verification of material.

· Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form. Email, scanning, and phone communication. Navigate and compose professional emails. Maintain accurate records and files.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required

· Assume responsibilities seriously and balance company and employee needs

· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task

· Effectively problem solve and think critically

· Work alongside employees to gain perspective, trust and experience

· Willing to assume a variety of responsibilities

· Able to take direction and follow through

Education and Work Experience:

· Prior experience with construction/masonry or production helpful but not required

Physical Capabilities

· Individual must be able to:

· Drive Forklift

· Tolerate pushing/pulling motions and hand gripping and grasping repetitive wrist movements. Reaching above shoulder level. Long periods of standing and walking

· Bending at wait reach above shoulder level and alternation between periods of sitting and more strenuous manual labor

· Lift 80 lbs
