Position Overview :
Power Your Future with Qualus in our Finance & Accounting team as an Accounts Receivable Coordinator. This role is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivables from our clients.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure timely collections and maintain positive client relationships.
Responsibilities :
- Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts.
- Oversee collection efforts by identifying accounts for collection outreach, and collaborating with operational and client facing leadership .
- Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
- Resolves client-billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner .
- Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
- Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management.
- Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
- Interface cross-functionally with finance and operations regarding receivables trending to facilitate improvement measures.
- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
- Mail correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
- Sends documents to accounts and follow up.
Qualifications :
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of collection processes and accounts receivable management.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and persistence to achieve collections in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
