What You'll Do
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Fleet Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the efficient management of our organization's fleet. You will work closely with our fleet operations team, analyzing data from the GPS for Quanta Services fleet of vehicles. The position will be responsible for assisting the Quanta Operating Units with utilization of the GPS system and will analyze the data to improve quality and report on findings. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to fleet management practices, operational procedures, and transportation logistics. The Fleet Operations Intern will assist in
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects across the Quanta Services Operating Units.
- Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making processes or project development.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, or other deliverables as assigned.
- Runs reports and analyzes data from the organization’s GPS system.
- Liaisons with operations to make sure the data is correct and equipment is functioning correctly.
- Analyzes reports for organizational performance.
- Provides management with continuous updates GPS reports.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) pursuing related degree.
- < 1 Year
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to own a business
- Humble; willing to do tasks that others might consider beneath them
- Hungry to be developed and passion to develop others
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, e-mail software

- Determined and trustworthy
- Willingness to travel to job sites outside of the Greater-Houston area (including out-of-state)
