Job Description
We are looking for a Sales & Customer Support Associate to join our company to provide daily support to our customers and sales reps. We are seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic, and communicative individual to represent our company in a positive manner and provide the best service possible to our customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Stay up to date with current product portfolio, hot deals, and temporary items as well as ongoing promotions.
- Enter and process customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
- Build a strong relationship with our sales reps and customers based on trust and personalized communication.
- Counsel customers on out-of-stock items, replacement items, new products, and promotions.
- Problem-solve any order-related issues while working with all departments (purchasing, Imports, credit, and the warehouse team).
- Gather customer feedback and escalate it to the appropriate departments to ensure Company always improves and meets customer demands.
- Support sales team with data entry and other functions needed.
- Carry out any additional duties that may be assigned or requested.
Required Experience and Skills
- ·1-2 years in customer and sales support, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Love of problem-solving and going the extra mile to make things right.
- Interest in Italian and European foods, and willingness to learn and taste delicious samples.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative.
- Italian or Spanish speaking a plus, but not mandatory.
- Friendly, positive attitude and ability to handle problems with a smile.
- Ability to work 100% in office, in Maspeth Queens. No remote office possibility for this role
