Microbiologist

This position requires the Microbiologist to provide services, such as:

• Support general laboratory operations: ordering supplies, operating laboratory equipment, sample/material receipt, good documentation practices
• Perform environmental monitoring of classified areas including: sample receipt, incubator room, analysis bench space, and general laboratory area
• Track sample incubation, read results, complete related reports, and support various approval processes
• Perform a variety of testing services, including: Biological Indicator Testing, Microbial Sample Enumeration, Organism Identification (using a Bruker MALDI-TOF), Gram Staining, Subculture, and Sterility Testing
• Perform Material QC and growth promotion support testing
• Analyze, interpret, and document data accurately, clearly, and in compliance with client requirements and cGMP
• Ensures timely and accurate responses to customer questions or concerns to maintain our high level of customer service
• Carry out and schedule daily lab activities to maintain quality, efficiency and deliver customer results with quick turnaround times
• Periodically review and visually audit laboratory staff to ensure compliance with methods
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and provide technical advice as requested
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to move between task types and remain efficient, show initiative, good planning and organizational skills, look for and pitch process improvements
• Follow Quantus, Inc. SOPs, Customer Procedures, and industry best practices;
• Build customer relationships by offering help beyond your daily task list, leveraging our company’s knowledge base to support our customers’ environmental monitoring programs.Requirements:

The job requirements for this position are as follows:

• At least a BS in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related Life Sciences degree
• Must be computer literate, MacOS, proficient in Microsoft office, email, and can learn to work within custom database and software applications, to perform routine job duties.
• At least 3-6 YEARS of experience working in a Microbiology Labratory;
• Experience with GMP/GDP
• Must be able to lift 50Lbs, work on equipment bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing;
• Valid Drivers License
• Travel: local
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check
• Location: BLUE BELL, PA

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits
