This role will offer candidates the opportunity to employ and develop their analytical and technical skills supporting core systems and operational departments including Premium Billing, Customer Service and Enrollment. Business Analysts provide production support, gather requirements, configure, build and test our applications, along with facilitating enhancement design with our vendors and business partners.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units, management, and vendors.
- Analyze, develop, and document detailed business requirements and business processes for proposed technical solutions to strategic corporate initiatives.
- Demonstrate leadership on project teams and subgroups. Serve as a subject matter expert during project planning and testing stages of assigned project(s).
- Participate in cross functional initiatives.
- Develop, execute and document results of detailed business/user acceptance test scenarios and test cases.
- Triage production support tickets.
- Partner with developers to troubleshoot, resolve production support tickets.
- Recognize when information does not look correct and take initiative to correct the error(s) – dig deep to find explanations within application testing.
- Bring forth business recommendations and deliver end-products that meet the needs of the internal and external customer.
- Recommend standards, procedures and process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3 year(s) in a Business Analyst or similar role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, MIS, or technical focus is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a four-year degree
- Experience health insurance industry preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience working with SQL Queries, JIRA, Lucid, and Visio is preferred
- Experience working with Epic Web Portals (MyChart and/or TapestryLink)
- Knowledge of UX Design concepts preferred
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Disciplined Agile)
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively with other employees, vendors and end users
- Strong problem solving and documentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Curiosity and interest in learning new software, systems, tools
- Access to a stable, high-speed, non-satellite Internet connection

This position will work remotely. Ability to commute to one of our offices in Madison, WI or Onalaska, WI is preferred, as needed. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
