What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Crew Member position at Queen City Awning?
Queen City Awning is family owned, small business that has been providing awning service and installation in the greater Cincinnati are for 145 years. Queen City Awning was founded in 1877 and has been the industry leader in awning installation. We work with contractors, commercial business owners, and residential home owners to install outdoor shading solutions. Our installation crew member is an integral part of our team, providing the skill and guidance to ensure our products are installed to the highest quality and safety standards.
Installation helpers generally work on a 2-3 man team installing metal and fabric awnings at commercial and residential job sites. Each installation crew has a team lead who will provide guidance and training for growth and development of your skills.
The crew helpers are responsible for loading and unloading truck and assisting team leads on the install. You will receive OSHA training provided by Queen City Awning.
Construction or roofing experience required
Candidate must be comfortable working off ladders as high as 40'
Candidate must be comfortable working with power tools
Room for growth and advancement in position with time and experience
No two days are the same- learn an in demand trade with on the job training. We encourage those with experience in the construction or roofing industry to apply.
Work environment is outdoors on commercial and residential job sites.
Site conditions will vary depending on the installation.
A typical day includes:
-Arriving to load truck and receive job assignment at 7225 E Kemper Rd
-Driving to job sites to perform installations and services
-Reporting back to 7225 E Kemper Rd at the end of the dat to unload truck and turn in paper work

Schedule is Monday - Thursday. Hours are generally 6:00 am - 4:30 pm with a 30 minute lunch break
Weekends off
Overtime may be assigned in busier months.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
