Basic Purpose:
As an integral member of the Global Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility (GI & CSR) Department, the Social Corporate Responsibility Manager will work closely with the Director of GI& CSR to support the overall GI & CSR strategy, specifically:
(1) National GI & CSR internal and external partnerships
(2) rankings and benchmarking
(3) strategic philanthropy
(4) employee volunteerism and
(5) GI & CSR communications
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage external multi-year, multi-million dollar CSR partnerships with nonprofit partners to increase market presence, improve reputation and build solid business relationships which drive growth. Track impact of partnerships and report to stakeholders.
2. Manage key internal stakeholder partnerships with commercial, marketing and clinical franchises to leverage GI & CSR Partnerships and other collaborations to drive growth.
3. Lead and manage Rankings & Benchmarking strategy by coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to complete surveys and rankings applications including Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, Working Mother, Diversity Inc., HRC CEI and CECPs, Giving in Numbers.
4. Lead and manage development of the annual GI & CSR report including working with key SMEs to compile data and content to effectively tell the story of Quest GI & CSR and its impact addressing health disparities, empowering communities, creating inclusive cultures and protecting our resources.
5. Act as key point of contact and advisor for Employee Business Networks
6. Proactively suggest enhancements to community and corporate social responsibility programs.
7. Support the Company's philanthropic strategy by developing and implementing the Health in Your Hands and Dollars for Doers platforms, tracking giving across the company, managing matching gifts and executing the contributions process as needed.
8. Effectively integrate communication and marketing (including internet, intranet, and social media) efforts with all initiatives to ensure exposure and alignment.
9. Assist in planning and implementing national and local Inclusion and CSR initiatives and events.
10. Managing and guiding the efforts of the national QuestCares and Green Quest Leaders to ensure maximum alignment with the Company's growth strategy.
11. Supervise and manage the workflow of two interns
12. Serve as an ambassador and SME on issues related to GI & CSR
Supervision Exercised: Provides direction to Project Coordinator and Interns.
Qualifications:
Education Degree in Business or Communications required
Work Experience: 8 years working in fast-paced environment managing multiple stakeholders, 5 years CSR and/or inclusion experience
Physical and Mental: Occasional event set-up may require lifting boxes and standing for long periods
Other: Business acumen. Able to effectively align GI & CSR goals with corporate business objectives. Demonstrated ability to interact and manage effectively at all levels of the organization. Ability to make sound business decisions under pressure. Professional, personable and poised, with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Thorough knowledge of MS Office applications. Self-directed Individual with initiative, creativity and analytical skills.
