Deposit Solutions Specialist - Suwanee Branch Location - Full Time Position
$18-19 HR
M-F hours 8-5pm
One of our banking clients is looking for a Deposit Solutions Specialist to join their team. This is a highly visible customer service client facing role. The Deposit Solution Specialist will maintain customer relationships through servicing accounts and selling services that match customers’ needs.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer services skills welcoming clients into the bank in a warm and friendly manner
- Handle all incoming client phone calls in a professional manner
- Manages the new account opening process for checking, saving, CD’s and IRA
- Responsible for setting up and servicing products such as Debit/ATM cards, online banking, mobile banking and overdraft protection
- Complete all account maintenance and client requests such as wire transfers account servicing and enrolling customers into online banking
- Discover new business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Make out-bound business development calls to set appoints for the Branch Manager
- Reaching out to customers by phone and participating in branch call nights
- Following up on referrals from other business partners and customers
- Achieve individual goals and contribute toward the branch goal for bank products and services
- Perform teller responsibilities such as cashing checks, making deposits, process night drop and mail in deposits
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years’ experience working in a large, mid-size or community bank setting that included account opening and teller responsibilities
- Ability to be successful in a sales environment cross-selling products and services
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 1-year experience in a bank or credit union with exposure to new account openings and teller transactions
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn new technology/software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Desire to be in a customer service/sales environment
