What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Quixote Club?
Job brief:
We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our team in providing high-level service to our members. Quixote Club is a private, members-only club, so this is an opportunity for a bartender to build lasting relationships with those they serve. This is a unique setting in that there is not only the day-to-day business, but occasional large events such as wedding receptions and tournaments. Having a working knowledge of classic cocktails and being able to memorize signature cocktails is required. Ideally, we would love to have someone who is passionate about alcohol and stays current with trends.
Physical Setting:
- Upscale dining restaurant in a private golf club
Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Job Duties:
- Greeting each member and making them feel special
- Seating the members and providing menus
- Serving tables in coordination with other FOH staff, service is a team effort
- Anticipating the members’ needs
- Assisting with clearing and resetting tables
- Maintain a clean bar throughout the shift
- Prepare fruit and house-made mixers as needed
- Carry out basic opening and closing side work as well as ongoing side work throughout the shift
- Assist in putting away beverage deliveries
- Assist in the setup and teardown of various events
- Report any incidents of machine failure or broken facilities to upper management
- Follow all safety procedures and report any incidents of unsafe practices to upper management
- Other duties as requested
