The Opportunity
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, EA Business Analysis, Associate Inventory Analyst will provide regular reporting metrics, partner with off-air buyers and collaborate with Ecommerce teams. In this role you will manage overall inventory via off air channels for their business categories; this includes the development, execution and analysis of sales and inventory strategy for their assigned areas of responsibility and direct communication with the vendor community. Associate Inventory Analyst will be the liaison between Off Air Buyers, Off Air Planners, Ecommerce and Marketing.

As an Associate Inventory Analyst you will work with a team of three to monitor inventory levels, identify non-performing items for action, propose rebuying quantities to replenish drop ship inventory in addition to communicating inventory needs directly with the vendor community and track/report on progress of loaded inventory levels.
Your Impact
Analyze business for assigned categories. Identify, forecast and communicate opportunities to optimize inventory.
Partner with teams and vendors on out of stock key items and non-performing items.
Help develop strategies to drive the BA/EA business through identifying and recommending opportunities within the current inventory assortment.
Develop strong cross-functional relationships with internal partners and vendors
Provide regular reporting to relevant metrics.
Analyze proper weeks of supply and forecast inventory to meet demand based on historical trends and upcoming events.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
2 plus years of experience in inventory analysis, forecasting or planning is required.
Demonstrated advanced level expertise in MS Excel.
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills with extreme attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.
Ability to quickly analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have a positive effect on business and alert the Buying team.
Background in Merchandising or Planning preferred
Experience with Microstrategy & SQL preferred
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various levels of management and vendor community.
