What are the responsibilities and job description for the DEA Specialist position at Quva Pharma?
Responsibilities may include:
- DEA coordinator CII –CV: Manage and coordinate all DEA related activities
- Conduct year end and biennial inventory
- Responsible for implementing and gathering data to support YERS inventories
- Coordinate all controlled substance destruction with appropriate Quality and Logistics departments
- Responsible for all reconciling discrepancies in customer ordering forms (DEA 222)
- Follow GDP compliance and maintain organized DEA files on related activities
- Count, process, fill and document all returns as applicable
- Count, process, fill, document and reconcile all waste for reverse distribution
- Review and correct inventory and waste logs as needed following the appropriate documentation trail
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
Required- Knowledge of controlled substance regulations and compliance needs
- Knowledge in the security requirements
- Registered and Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Associate’s degree or equivalent with 1-2 years work experience or an equivalent overall level of knowledge based upon previous work experience
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
