The Opportunity
Do you enjoy planning things ahead of time and considering all factors that could impact your decision making?? Look no further because QVC is hiring for an On Air Merchandise Allocation Planner to support our Jewelry division! The planner will report to the Manager of Merchandise Allocation Planning and is responsible to drive On Air sales and manage overall inventory. The On Air planner works closely with their buying partners to strategically plan the future assortment, while also managing the existing product. They will also work alongside fellow Planners to drive the On Air sales at QVC. The Planner will analyze results to decide next actions and make observations around overall trends of a business. Factors such as customer experience, margin, current events, return rates and new names will be considered and discussed as it relates to the business. Currently this role works from home remotely, but there is a possibility to become a hybrid option. (Time would be split between West Chester Campus and home) We offer great flexibility and support our team members with work life balances.
Our Team
We are a driven team of On Air Merchandise Allocation Planners working to deliver best experience to our customer and doing so by partnering with our internal cross functional teams.
Core accountabilities include: scripting of shows and managing inventory, productivity & margin to drive sales. Work with others to plan and improve the business and maximize sales opportunities. Perform duties according to company policies and procedures with latitude for independent judgment and initiative.
