Delivery Driver/Warehouse

We are seeking an energetic and responsible individual for a Delivery Driver role at QW Furniture. This role will primarily be tasked with performing in-home deliveries to customers homes. A variety of other related tasks will include loading and unloading trucks, operating the QW box truck and assembling furniture. A top-notch delivery and warehouse team is very important to QW and you will be called upon to use your talents in a variety of applications. Delivery/warehouse experience is a plus, but not required to apply. Must be able to lift 100-250lbs with the help of another delivery team member. This role will have a set weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of furniture items to customers homes
• Load/unload delivery trucks and inbound freight
• Schedule deliveries with customers
• Assemble and install furniture
• Ensure exceptional customer service
• Assist customers with pick-ups
• Perform furniture touch-up if needed
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Collect payments
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Valid driver’s license (QW will pay for your DOT physical)
• Ability to operate small box truck
• Good driving record
• High school degree (Or working towards it)
