R.A.S. Logistics is a provider of final mile delivery services and a growing leader in the logistics industry. R.A.S. partners with multiple name brand companies in diverse markets and we pride ourselves in exceeding customer expectations! We are looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our team in Huntsville, Alabama and several surrounding locations.
General Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Manage daily operations, workflow processes, and warehouse inventory at Huntsville location while supporting other assigned location.
- Manage multiple teams of dedicated carrier delivery drivers in addition to terminal staff
- Ensure terminals are performing efficiently and meeting customer expectations
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers in the relevant markets
- Resolve operational issues in an efficient, fair and expeditious manner
- Manage the operations budget, profit and loss objectives, internal metrics and key performance indicators.
General Manager requirements include the following.
- Minimum two years final mile delivery experience
- Functional understanding of P&L statements
- Experience managing and training direct reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Office
- Excellent organization skills as well as being a detail-oriented self-starter
- Travel as needed
