What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista and Cashier position at R&B Tea Long Beach?
R&B Long Beach is looking for friendly, hardworking baristas and cashiers to join our team! Part-time and full-time positions are available. Must have high level of patience and maintain a positive attitude at all times.
***Must attend scheduled training(s) before start date***
***No experience required, paid training***
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet customers as they enter
- Give customers answers to their questions regarding ingredients
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences ice level and sugar ratios)
- Brew tea, cook boba, chop fruits, etc
- Follow beverage recipes
- Serve beverages and prepared food
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Clean/sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment throughout shift
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Restock ingredients
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand for long periods of time
- Ability to multitask
Qualifications
- Must be over 18 years old
- Customer service experience (preferred but not required)
- Barista experience (preferred but not required)
- Basic math skills
- Provide Food Handler's certificate with 4 days of hire
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
