Wholesale Produce Warehouse Manager

Wholesale Produce Distribution Company based in Port Washington, NY seeking a self-motivated, reliable, and responsible warehouse manager.

Requirements:
  • Minimum five years hands-on produce experience and knowledge
  • Manager or Supervisor of 15 employees
  • Hands-on manager, able and willing to work alongside staff
  • Proficient knowledge with riding pallet jacks and hi-lo machines
  • Assist personnel with daily unloading and loading
  • Able to communicate well, English Required, Spanish is a plus
  • Assist other shifts when necessary

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely unloading of incoming delivery’s
  • Check for quality, variety and quantity of products on each order
  • Maintain organized and structured warehouse operations
  • Inform purchasing and sales department of short stocked or overstock items
  • Manage and schedule employee’s work schedules (daily/weekly)
  • Checking accuracy of orders being selected for delivery to customers



Compensation:
  • Compensation based on experience ($75k-$125k)
  • Full Medical Benefits, including dental and vision
