Job Summary: R.E. Lewis is seeking a full-time Project Manager with experience in ammonia refrigeration. The Project Manager has complete responsibility for the project and must be a highly organized team player with leadership abilities.
Key Duties:
- Analyze requirement documents and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of the project scope
- Visits necessary jobsites to complete the estimate.
- Prepares materials and labor cost estimates.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with company vendors and contractors.
- Manages incoming bids from vendors and contractors.
- Analyze & consult with customers on engineering requirements and provide value-added services and products to solve customer problems.
- Responsible for reviewing specifications to ensure the customer’s engineering technical needs are met.
- Coordinate project schedule with operations staff, general contractor, or customer.
- Clarifies specific requirements of each project.
- Tracks and analyze project performance.
- Monitor budget requirements and adjust accordingly.
- Track project change orders and issues.
- Order all necessary materials and drawings.
- Communicate objectives and schedule directly with the project superintendent.
- Conduct post project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Willingness to travel as needed throughout the continental US.
- Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed, brings problems to the attention of the Safety Coordinator
- Adheres to RE Lewis Refrigeration guidelines for expense reports and submits payroll in a timely manner.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and motivated, positive attitude.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; or 3 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred
- Ability to travel with overnight stay if necessary
- Effective communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
