Job Posting for International Logistics Specialist at R+L Global Logistics

International Logistics Specialist responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Provides support to our International Logistics Team, including dispatching, document preparation, tracking and tracing , verifying load integrity
Communicate clearly and effectively with carriers and internal and external customers and business partners
Research quote information for international team members
Consistently track and trace order movements from origination to destination and solve operational challenges
Other duties as assigned to support business needs

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

High school Diploma or GED
Previous experience in the international forwarding industry a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Have the drive, assertiveness, passion, and dedication to succeed in the freight forwarding industry
Work independently while supporting an overall team mentality
Multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
Ownership of role and responsibilities, participate in team goals
Manage customer situations promptly and professionally
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
