We are seeking
Shipping Material Handler & Banding
Shipping Responsibilities include filling material demands of internal and external customers and will accurately perform tasks assigned for material movement. Following FIFO practices along with ISO compliance. The employee will follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare domestic and international shipments
- Package, stock and manage the accuracy of raw and finished goods.
- Fill work orders, purchase orders and sales orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Periodically perform cycle counts on raw and finished goods inventory.
- Match documents to corresponding skid with shipments
- Ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Learn and apply instructions to meet deadlines
- Wrapping and banding freight
You must:
- Have basic computer skills
- Have effective communication skills: fluent English reading, writing, speaking
- Have experience working in shipping/receiving/warehouse
- Have good problem-solving skills
- Standing, walking continuously and lift objects up to 50#
- Have strong math skills for material transfers
- Securing skids for outbound shipments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
