Customer Solutions Specialist

CGI ComGraphics, Inc. is a document solutions provider of variable laser printing, inserting, mailing, and electronic document solutions. Currently in Chicago, we will be located in Addison, IL in November, 2022.  CGI is an employee-owned company dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and fast-paced work environment. As our business continues to grow, we are hiring a Customer Solutions Specialist (CSS) who will work with outside customers and internal CGI departments to employ a proactive strategy for understanding and supporting desired business expectations ensuring projects are completed on time, in budget, and per specifications.  The CSS will identify and address customer issues and coordinate resources to assist with resolution.  The CSS will mentor and train other team members through both formal and informal training programs. 

What you will do:

• Manage programming requests, specifications and change orders from outside customers and internal CGI departments.
• Enforce project deadlines and rollout schedules.
• Effectively utilize project management tools to create detailed, organized project documentation for customer applications and projects.
• Perform internal testing and coordinate customer user acceptance testing of enhancements.
• Manage procurement of client  and CGI stock and supplies.
• Review monthly inventory management reporting, postage tracking, monthly customer billings and other reporting for customer order process.
• Draft and present initial and final customer job specifications (IBRC) to internal CGI departments.
• Interview, investigate and communicate with end users/customers to find out what is needed and propose business solutions to management to solve outstanding issues.
• Assist with prospect statement of work and request for proposal, as needed.
• Coordinate and lead meetings at a minimum on a monthly basis for all assigned customers.
• Document discussions and collaborate with team members and management.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Related Field
• 3-5 years related experience in customer service, project management, financial services, and/or document distribution business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Working knowledge of SQL databases, desirable
• Transactional and/or Direct Marketing Mail experience with familiarity of USPS rules and regulations. Awareness of current industry leading data processing and composition tools, preferred
