Industrial Equipment Service Technician
Our team at Spray Booth Products needs to expand! Our crews install, maintain, and repair all the elements of our commercial air movement systems (machinery and other equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems).
We need to get another skilled Service Technician working on the hundreds of Paint Booth setups we service throughout the Metro Detroit area.
Troubleshooting our Paint Booths requires working in the following components of the systems :
- Power supply
- Ductwork
- Spray booth controls
- Calibration of Temperature control elements (thermostats, heaters)
Useful Knowledge and Experience (experience in any of the following could be a good foundation) :
- Electrical troubleshooting and service work
- Power supply - conduit, wire, panels
- HVAC - Industrial Kitchen or other Food-machinery installation and service work
- Refrigeration experience / certification
- Electrical Controls - troubleshooting, service, parts replacement
- Machinery schematics, internal machinery wiring
- PLCs
- Relays
- Installing, Servicing, Troubleshooting, or doing Preventative Maintenance on :
- Industrial Machinery or Equipment
- Replacing or Servicing Pneumatics, hydraulics
- Or other related mechanical components
Our crews typically dispatch from our shop in Redford, in company vehicles - time on the road is on the clock and in a company vehicle.
The core schedule is Mon-Thurs (4-day work-week), 7 am - 5 : 30 pm.
These roles pay about $25-35 per hour, depending on experience. This is a direct hire, W2 position eligible for full benefits - Paid Holidays and Vacation, 401k with Match, Health Insurance.
We are busy all year round, and can easily guarantee you 40 hours every week.
We currently have about 15 employees on the team, and have been in business about 17 years.
