We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global Business Intelligence, to join a Corporate office. As the Senior BI Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the creation and growth of industry-leading Microsoft business intelligence capabilities and platforms. You will lead data engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to accelerate business insight generation from big data, resulting in positive and measurable business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Build, lead, and mentor a team of highly skilled BI Developers (Power BI) and SQL developers (Microsoft SQL Server and other data sources).

Take end-to-end ownership of outcomes through successful execution of proactive business intelligence, ad-hoc reporting requests, and collaboration with Data Science and Data Engineering.

Achieve business outcomes by executing projects within scope, on time, and within budget, while exceeding expectations and building trust with business stakeholders.

Manage platforms, standards, and processes to create a highly scalable, available, and responsive Power BI platform and reduce/eliminate the use of Excel as a database through low/no-code alternatives.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in report writing tools such as SSRS or Power BI Paginated Reports.

Proficient in MS SQL querying, specifically SELECT queries and stored procedures.

Extensive current hands-on skills with relational databases, schemas, dimensional modeling, and data analysis techniques.

Experience with NoSQL querying and development.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a computer science/information systems related domain required; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum fifteen years of total professional experience in the BI/analytics domain, with at least three years in a leadership role successfully leading and delivering large-scale BI projects and managing globally distributed teams.
