What are the responsibilities and job description for the Satellite Installation Technician position at R3 Home Solutions?
Responsibilities:
- Must have your own truck or van with standard hand tools and a ladder
- Install and configure satellite systems for residential and commercial customers
- Perform service calls and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues with satellite equipment
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best placement of satellite dishes
- Run and terminate coaxial and Ethernet cables for network installation
- Set up and configure Fusion routers for internet connectivity
- Perform cabling as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a related field
- Ability to work in the field and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and lifting heavy equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
