Job Description
Position: Cloud Engineer
Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, Azure App Service, Google Kubernetes Engine, etc.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud-based environments.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Responsible for managing deployments for given solutions and utilizing HELM charts for enhanced detail. Logging within Kubernetes.
- Experience using automation and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Git.
- Experience designing and developing microservices within a public cloud working with AWS or Azure, EKS preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of current cloud architecture, best practices, tools, and frameworks as well as emerging technologies, trends, and processes
- Experience working with Linux and Windows Operating System
