RaceTrac Company Overview Job Description: The Grant Writer is responsible for identifying, researching, and communicating funding opportunities to support existing and planned initiatives and programs, as well as leading the development, writing and submission of grant proposals to federal, state, and other funding agencies. This position will be responsible for crafting and submitting compelling, high-quality grant applications that are well-researched and customized to stipulated funding requirements and align with company goals. Additional responsibilities will include developing and managing workflow and data to ensure accurate information is used to develop grant applications, generating reports on grant funding opportunities, and creating and maintaining a detailed grants calendar. Responsibilities: • Grant Writing Management o Manage, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals that align with company initiatives and goals. o Research, identify, and monitor grant funding opportunities and relay relevant information to stakeholders. o Study and understand the history, objectives, programs, and financial needs of the organization. o Maintain primary responsibility for following all requirements and deadlines for grant applications. o Serve as liaison for grant funding agencies and respond to inquiries and requests for information. o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure needed documentation and information is obtained for grant applications. o Maintain records and submit reports on grant opportunities to internal stakeholders. o Collaborate with Manager of Compliance to ensure stipulated compliance requirements are well-documented and included in grant management activities as needed. o Maintain positive relationships with funding providers and other stakeholders. • Special Projects o As directed by the Supervisor, organize and administer other special projects. • Planning & Miscellaneous o Work closely with the internal stakeholders to develop and implement short and long-range strategies to promote RaceTrac’s success in the grant space. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year College or University required. • 5 years’ experience in a grant writing role. • 5 years’ experience in retail, EV Charging, and/or hydrogen fueling industry experience preferred. • 1 years’ experience in project management. • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite Open to remote or hybrid working.
