Job Summary
Reporting directly to the paint shop foreman this position prepares surfaces for various coatings including plaster, sheetrock, various compounds, paint, etc. This position applies coatings to various surfaces in a skillful manner. This position will perform these duties on a wide array of surfaces and building types/ages. This position takes a lead role within the shop when the foreman is absent.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated working knowledge of paints, plasters, compounds and other associated materials. Demonstrated experience as a journey level in paint and plaster fields. Demonstrated experience in a facilities and/or construction-related field. Demonstrated experience working from heights. Valid driver’s license.
Additional Considerations
Aerial lift certification. Fork Lift certification. Demonstrated experience with scaffolding erection and ladders.
