What You Will Do
- Partner with leadership on talent management, organizational planning and development, and senior-level strategic projects and initiatives. This may include leading organizations through talent reviews and succession planning as well as organizational changes including organization re-structure, re-design and/or M&A activity.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement and morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day to day leadership coaching and performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Advises and guides leaders with administering the various compensation programs, such as salary administration, annual bonus program, employee recognition programs, sales or production incentive plans and/or equity administration. Provides consultation on individual and department wide basis to ensure equity and a market competitive approach to compensation. Partners with Compensation COE to establish/update job families, conduct job evaluations or market analysis to ensure competitive pricing, and recommendations for salary adjustments as appropriate.
- Supports and assists with recruitment activities. Manages the front end requisition request and review, ensure documentation and approvals are current, reviews compensation pricing targets and if applicable prepares position request for market evaluation.
- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
Who We Are Looking For:
Knowledge:
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of the resolution of complex employee relation issues.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
- Must have knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas: has led a department organization or operating model redesign, participated in a merger, acquisition or divestiture; managed complex employee relations issues through investigation and issue resolution; led a major change management effort.

- Understands HR implications for strategic options, and adjusts HR strategies to respond to changing business needs.

Education and Credentials
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Other Certifications:: HR professional certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred but not required.
