Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated mid-level Aerospace Engineer to support Research and Development activities by providing advisory technical expertise, feedback, analysis, and other assistance.
The anticipated compensation for the position is $120,000 to $190,000 based on a full-time schedule. Your compensation will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience, and education.
Job Duties
- Use experience in Astrodynamics to provide assistance in the design, development, and testing of structures and systems for aircraft, missiles, or spacecraft
- Analyze aerospace product or equipment specifications and performance requirements
- Review/assess new technologies for application in improving design of aerospace systems
- Provide expertise in modeling, mathematics, Matlab, Python, and STK
- Review/assess existing and state of the art space components, subsystems, systems, and architectures
- Propose and review/assess new technologies and concepts as they are integrated
- Conduct earth-centric, cis-lunar, lunar, and planetary orbital analysis for individual space platforms and constellations that can include thousands of space platforms (satellites and space stations)
- Provide technical expertise to develop modeling and simulation capabilities and to support and improve collection, analysis, processing, data fusion, exploitation and dissemination of GEOINT collection
