In order to be considered for this opportunity you must have 2 years or more of screen-printer experience.
Requirements
Days and Hours: Monday - Friday
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examines work orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production time, stock specifications, colors, and color sequences.
- Screen preparation process including screen stretching, screen selection, degreasing, film-emulsion coating, exposure and wash out, as well as cleaning and reclaiming after printing.
- Selecting, mixing, and modifying ink for use in the process.
- Ability to print with repeatable results—and to anticipate, recognize and fix possible issues with the ink and machinery.
- Perform quality checks throughout the print run and verify that the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down the press for the next job.
- Set up print screen/pad print machine incl. loading & adjusting screens, adjustments, inking screens, squeegee selection & test printing.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more.
- Must have a good attendance record.
- Simple art and design skills
- Must be able to work in an assembly/production environment.
- Ability to work independently under his/her own initiative.
