Maxar is looking for a Business/Risk Management Analyst to join our team in Reston, VA. This role will be focused on risk management in support of strategic Research and Development (R&D) enterprise investments.

Day-to-Day with your Colleagues:
- Support the risk team in the development of a comprehensive Risk Management Plan providing a detailed approach and process that will be used to manage risks/issues across the Agency and portfolio.
- Identify planning, program and implementation risks for business process and technical challenges across the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Research and Development (R&D) investment portfolio.
- Use your expertise in evaluating and mitigating risk to develop strategies that will reduce risk to the Agency’s existing investments.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments and help to analyze risk tools, processes, and other resources to enable decision making and aid in risk mitigation.
- Assist stakeholders with the identification of risks, and reviewing, analyzing, and validating risks and issues.
- Continuously review program risk data to create an overall view of program risk based on individual discrete risk elements, and coordinate risks.
- Support the reporting of risk to various audiences and develop risk escalation processes, which involves external risk reporting to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, Risk Management, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology or other related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience with risk management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence activities in Government and commercial sectors.
- 5 years of overall experience with 3 years’ experience in applying ERM for a management consultancy for commercial or government clients.
- Certification in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
