Accounts Receivable

Location: 2300 Dulles Station Blvd-Herndon, VA

Duration: 2 months

Pay Rate Range: 24.04-26.44/hr on w2 without benefits

Work Days/Hours: 9am – 5pm

The Billing AR Specialist plays a key role in producing and providing accurate, efficient billing and accounts receivable services to the Telular customer base. This position will serve as the primary contact for our customers and is responsible for the gathering and analysis of customer data, specific to associated recurring and one-time services, the generation/processing of associated customer invoices, and the support and resolution of any identified billing errors. The candidate should possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of data analytics and the billing process.

Responsibilities:

• Subscription and Recurring invoice processing

• Hardware and Supplemental daily invoice processing

• Compare billing data to identify variance and audit

• Perform ongoing audits of customer accounts

• Maintain and support activity on team call line and shared inbox to facilitate answering customer questions

• Assist with maintaining accurate customer rates and data within multiple portals

• Process A/R payments and applications.

• Provide support to Collections and Finance

• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Required Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Accounting or Finance

• 2 years of professional experience

• Strong written and oral communication skills tailor towards positive Customer Experience

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)

o Strong Microsoft Excel Skills Needed (Pivot Tables, vLookUp, Concatenate)

• Ability to work independently and with a team, prioritize and meet deadlines, and handle multiple demands efficiently

Preferred Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:

• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application such as Salesforce

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application such as Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains)

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within billing and accounts receivable processes.
