As the Sensor Scientist, you will support, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues on the factory floor relating to our custom electrochemical sensors, using tools ranging from big data, encompassing Critical to Quality process parameters and field quality feedback. An understanding of the interactions of whole blood with these components will enable you to solve problems rapidly and perform clear root cause analysis. Your passion for clear communication will enable you to explain your findings and ideas to senior leaders. Finally, you will use your personal skills to collaborate with engineers, scientists, technicians and operators in your discipline.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Pursue and support continuous improvements in support of internal and quality for electrochemical biosensors through data acquisition, data analysis and reporting.
- Gain knowledge of electrochemical biosensors through mentorship from Principal Scientists, peer Scientists at local and global levels
- Pursue multifactorial Design of Experiments, analyze data with statistical software tools
- Correlate sensor performance to Critical to Quality Process Parameters and collaborate with Process Engineers & Scientists
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent
- Ability to plan and execute multifactorial Design of Experiment
- Ability to analyze large data sets utilizing JMP, Minitab or similar
- Problem-Solving skills applying DMAIC, 5 whys, Fishbone analysis
- Up to 15% domestic travel
- Strong database and Excel skills and interest in data analysis
- Inquisitive, eager, goal-oriented
