We invite you to come join our Kern Radiology team as a Radiologic Technologist. This full-time career opportunity with Monday - Friday 8am - 5:00pm shift schedule located at our multi-modality outpatient imaging center in Bakersfield, CA. Our center provides a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a friendly and comfortable environment.
In this Radiologic Technologist position you will:
- Perform high quality radiologic and fluoscopy exams on incoming patients.
- Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
- Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Occasionally travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.
- Participate in projects and/or meetings, as well as complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:We're looking for experienced and professional radiologic technologist candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic exams and procedures with high quality results. Applicants must have ARRT(R) certification, CA State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT), BLS certification issued by AHA, (a CA State Fluoroscopy Permit if performing fluoroscopy in CA), and great communication skills! Recent X-Ray work experience (post externship) is preferred!
Pay Range: RT: $30.00 - $32.00 Per Hour, CT: $34.00 - $40.00 Per Hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, location and training. This pay scale is not a guarantee of a particular wage.
