Role Summary:

As our Family Law Attorney, you will be instrumental in building and leading our family law practice. This role requires a basic understanding of family law in Nevada, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. You will work directly with clients facing various family law issues, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, support, adoption, and guardianship cases. Your expertise will guide clients through their legal journey with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including litigation and mediation.
• Develop and implement effective case strategies that align with clients' objectives and legal requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements with precision and clarity.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to family law in Nevada, ensuring compliance in all legal activities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering counsel and support throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to client needs.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the family law practice through business development activities and community involvement.
• Accurately track billable hours to meet or exceed the firm’s requirements, ensuring efficient and effective use of time.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
• Strong understanding of the principles and practices of family law in Nevada.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload and adhere to deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
