Job Summary :

The Collections Specialist will facilitate collection efforts of delinquent accounts ensuring money owed is received promptly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Monitor assigned accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up with clients via phone and / or email on outstanding balances
• Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status weekly
• Escalate accounts for payment arrangements, notices, third-party collections and / or referral to legal time
• Work with internal teams to resolve billing and credit issues
• Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate with account holders in a courteous manner
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Required Education and Experience :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic accounting experience
• B2B Collections

Preferred Education and Experience :

Two years of related experience in accounts receivable preferred

Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc. :

NetSuite experience is a plus
