Pay Rate: $26.17/hour on W2.
Work Type: Onsite – West Palm Beach, Florida 33412
Duration: 4 months contract (with possible extension)
Job Overview:
- The Accounting Assistant will support the Area Controller and other team members by performing a variety of complex tasks requiring initiative, independent judgment, and a can-do attitude.
- Qualified candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirement:
- The initial focus for this position will be on accounts payable analytics, corrections, problem resolution and supporting ad-hoc analysis during month-end close.
- This will require a focus on accuracy and efficiently processing information to provide a remarkable service to internal stakeholders, and an investigative approach to problem-solving.
- Perform routine review of open purchase order data and interface with Suppliers, Procurement and Accounts Payable teams to update and/or bring orders to close.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary accounting education, diploma, or degree and 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook with advanced Excel skills desired.
