Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage packaging tasks and the team's workflow for our Packaging lines.
• Ensure that tablets, capsules, powder blends, stick packs, liquids, scoops, gummies, and pet treats are packed in accordance with cGMP regulations, in-house SOP instructions, sanitary FDA regulations, and with the highest efficiency.
• Create, maintain, and ensure packaging schedule is met.
• Collaborate closely with scheduling department, packaging leads, quality department, manufacturing department, warehouse, maintenance department, purchasing, and management.
Qualifications:
• Strong operations management experience in overseeing and managing production operations, including production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with Packaging operations that include, tablet, capsules, soft gels, powders, stick packs, gummies, pet treats, and pre-made pouches.
• Proven track record in process improvement, analyzing existing packaging processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements using lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent team leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Technical aptitude and familiarity with packaging machinery and equipment to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and assess equipment performance. Knowledge of automation and technology integration is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of quality control procedures, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA regulatory standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as production, procurement, and quality assurance. Ability to resolve conflicts and drive successful outcomes.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills for data analysis, performance monitoring, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to adapt to changing market demands and maintain a competitive edge.
