Job Description
Our client, a leading meat company, is looking for a Plant Maintenance Supervisor with solid maintenance experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities :
1) Lead teams of maintenance mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventative maintenance, along with machine repair
2) Oversee the daily maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for efficient manufacturing organizations
3) Ensure timely scheduling of maintenance and collaborate closely with production to schedule and execute equipment and facility repairs
4) Develop and maintain key performance indicators for tracking and reporting maintenance function performance
5) Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support to operating teams, addressing troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures
6) Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures, ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with USDA regulations
7) Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory
8) Provide regular status reports to the Maintenance Management Team
9) Provide leadership and guidance to employees in the Maintenance Department
10) Carry out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the meat industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in maintenance
