Raise Workforce has partnered with Kelvion, a global manufacturer of industrial heat exchangers for a highly diversified range of market segments including energy. Their services can be applied to data center, chemical industries; marine applications; HVAC and refrigeration; and environmental as well as the food and beverage industries.

We are working to support their hiring needs to Temp to Hire roles across multiple locations and positions. This is a great opportunity to get started with an established company like Kelvion.

We are looking for a Powder Coating Painter with industrial paint experience, who will be responsible for preparing and painting metal or hard composition surfaces to achieve a specified finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Abrade surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt.
• Shovel or pour abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
• Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors regarding painting tasks.
• Select premixed paints or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
• Prepare products prior to and after painting.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of previous industrial paint experience.
• Must be physically active and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Use a power spray gun effectively.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a physically active work pace.
• Must pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and wear a respirator.
• The position is identified as safety-sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test and criminal record check.
