Job Description:
Note: This position is for our esteemed client's practice. We are hired by the client for their staffing needs, and we don't charge the candidates. Anybody hired directly performs for the client, not us. It's a direct hire.
About the Practice: Our client's facility is modern, updated, and equipped with everything you need to provide high-quality dentistry. With the recent addition of a new Vatech CBCT Green X, you will be on the cutting edge of digital x-ray imaging.
Location: Southfield, MI (and nearby)
Compensation:
- Dentist will receive 30-35% of Collections with a minimum daily rate of $700 for a mutually agreed upon period of time.
Qualifications:
- DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school is required.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
- Current state of Michigan Dental license and DEA license.
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice.
- CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications.
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Every other Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Paid Holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Vacation Days:
- 10 Business days per year earned based on time employed.
Health Insurance:
- Available starting at 50% of costs to the employer.
Dental Insurance:
- After 3 months of employment, dental services at the practice available starting with exams, x-rays, prophylaxes, and fillings will have no charge. Doctor/hygienist will perform other work at no charge, except the employee must pay for any incurred laboratory fees and dental charges resulting from referred treatments. Family members will receive a 30% discount, parents a 15% discount.
Any Other Benefits:
- Option to participate in the 401(k) program.
Required Job Skills:
- DDS or DMD degree from an ADA accredited dental school.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
- Current state of Michigan Dental license and DEA license.
- Ideally some previous post-graduate clinical experience.
Required Software Skills:
- Word, Excel, or equivalent knowledge.
- EagleSoft dental management experience helpful but not required.
Certifications / Trainings Requirement:
- General Dentistry Board or Board Eligibility.

- Excellent patient rapport and quality treatment.
- Patients treated like family with overall healthcare being the first and most important objective.
