We are looking for a results-driven, highly analytical Director of Finance to provide infrastructure to our Finance department, manage and improve our organization's financial performance and direct our accounting operations.  

 Raleigh Radiology is a large radiology group that provides imaging excellence to both hospitals and imaging centers.  We are growing and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Finance who can direct and supervise the complete accounting system and financial health of the enterprise. You will oversee revenue cycle management, establish a financial approval system, and provide structure by digitizing accounting processes.

Your strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency as a Director of Finance will aid our organization in maintaining positive revenue and financial growth, formulating sound financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, achieving organizational targets, and developing financial plans that support organizational strategy.

The ideal candidate should be a team player and possess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.  The selected candidate will have exceptional communication skills and possess an effective business acumen. The candidate will also streamline our accounting functions and operations, provide solid financial planning analysis and reports, promote regulatory compliance, and drive income generation.

Requirements

The Director of Finance will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for the following:  

• Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by developing and evaluating its performance and potential risks.
• Develop and implementing appropriate financial policies and protocols
• Perform regular financial analysis including  variance explanations
• Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
• Establish targets and manage all accounting and finance employees including management accountants and internal auditors.
• Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
• Prepare detailed financial reports on the company’s financial performance for leadership.
• Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
• Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.
• Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.

The Director of Finance will provide budget guidance and support to operational managers, review all submitted budget requests, prepare the budgets, and analyze variance data. 

The Director of Finance will streamline asset management /inventory processes and financial reporting across the enterprise.

Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business or finance environment required, 7-10 years’ experience preferred.
