Position : Experienced Cabinet Maker - Shop Manager
Location : Raleigh NC area (our shop is in Smithfield)
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of our workshop, ensuring efficiency and high standards of craftsmanship.
- Specialize in the construction of custom cabinetry and furniture, bringing unique designs to life with precision and artistry.
- Lead the production of custom interior doors, focusing on quality, detail, and bespoke design requirements.
- Guide, train, and mentor our team of carpenters, fostering a culture of skill development and professional growth.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project needs and deliver tailor-made solutions.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards.
- Maintain workshop safety, organization, and adherence to industry best practices.
Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinet making, with a focus on custom cabinetry and doors.
- Demonstrated ability in managing a carpentry workshop, including team supervision and project management.
- Advanced skills in creating custom interior doors and fine woodwork.
- Proficiency in interpreting detailed blueprints, sketches, and client specifications.
